FormSync allows you to take an HTML form from your Email Service Provider and map the fields to your BDOW! campaign popup. In other words, your visitors will see your BDOW! popup, but the information they enter will be mapped to your Email Service Provider's custom form, which then submits to a list in your email service.
It is a great option if you do not see your Email Service Provider in our list of integrated services, but you still want your visitors to see your BDOW! popup.
Setting up the synchronization
First, you'll need an opt-in form provided by your email service provider. This will vary from provider to provider, but ultimately you will need to copy the HTML of the form.
Next, log into BDOW! and access your site manager. Navigate to Settings via the menu in the upper-right, then click the Integrations tab at the top of the page.
Note that this is the global integration setting, but you can also configure the integration directly on a particular campaign form, if necessary.
Select FormSync from the list of various Email Service Providers.
Click the Connect button.
Paste the form code into the text area:
BDOW! will scan the form fields and populate the Email Field dropdown. Select the field that will receive the email address, as that is the key item when working with subscribers. In our example, the email address field has an ID of
email, so that's what we'll choose:
Click Save.
That's the gist of it! Your email provider should include the submission destination as part of the form's submit action, so there is no further configuration necessary for a minimal setup.
From now on, the email provider's form will be loaded silently in the background, and when a visitor subscribes via your popup, BDOW! will submit the information to your email service provider according to the mapping.

Mapping additional fields
Once you've established the initial FormSync integration, you can map additional fields in the BDOW! campaign form design tool.
Edit a campaign form to access the designer, then navigate to the Design tab.
Select a field in your popup. You'll notice that now, you have an additional FormSync Field configuration option:
Select the appropriate field mapping from the dropdown.
When you are finished mapping all the fields, don't forget to Update your form.
