Connecting Zapier in BDOW! (formerly Sumo) is quick and easy. Just follow the quick start guide below!

Connecting to Zapier in BDOW!

Unlike many of our integrations, you must actually establish this connection from the Zapier side. Thus, the first step is to log into Zapier! Next, you will need to select the BDOW (FKA Sumo) app.

On the Setup tab, click the Account field's Select button to begin establishing the connection:

On the popup, you will need to sign into BDOW! to obtain the API key. Click the integration settings link. Note that you must use the link from this pop-up.

Once you have clicked the link, you should see a new tab open with the ability to select one of your sites. Choose the site you would like to connect to Zapier and click Continue.

You will find yourself on the BDOW! Integrations page in the site manager. However, scroll down and you will notice a new item! The Sumo API field will only appear when you are establishing a connection to Zapier.

Click Copy to Clipboard to obtain your key. You should only use this key to establish the connection with Zapier. For security purposes, do not share it.

Paste the key into the Zapier popup and click Yes, Continue to BDOW (FKA Sumo).

After a moment, it will finish setting up the connection. Back in Zapier, you'll see that your site is now an Account option!

What happened to the Zapier webhook integration?

Long-time users of BDOW! may be aware of version 1.2 of our Zapier integration, which utilizes a Hook URL for the connection. While these existing integrations will continue to work just fine in your campaigns, we do need to maintain compliance with Zapier's latest app requirements, hence the new version 1.3 of the BDOW! app.
