Integrating with Zapier
What's needed for the Sumo-Zapier integration?
How to connect Zapier in Sumo
Find the form that you would like to integrate with Zapier or create a new form.
After designing the form, navigate to Connect to Email Service.
In the list of Email Service Integrations, find Zapier and click Connect.
In another tab, navigate to Zapier and login to your account.
Create the desired Zap or choose from a Zap template. For instance, you might want to send your leads from Sumo to a Google Sheet.
Follow the prompts in Zapier until you're given Your Webhook URL. Copy the webhook URL and navigate back to Sumo.
Paste the webhook URL where it says Hook URL in Sumo. Select Save.
In order to test the integration, you will need to Save/Update your form in Sumo.
After your Sumo form has been saved, navigate back to Zapier and follow the prompts.
You'll need at least one form subscriber to test the integration in Zapier. After testing the integration, turn on the Zap in Zapier.
Setting up extra fields in Zapier
Sumo offers the ability to set up multiple fields in your opt-in forms. This include standard fields such as First Name, Last Name and Phone Number. You can also set up completely Custom Fields or Hidden Fields!
