What happens when a visitor subscribes?

When a visitor subscribes through one of your BDOW! campaign forms, we hold on to their email address for you. We also update your site's statistics so that you know which campaign forms are the most effective.

You can configure BDOW! to take several additional actions, too, including triggering a download or redirecting to another webpage.

Managing your subscriber list

You can manage your collected emails in two ways:

  1. You can integrate directly with a supported email service provider (note that paid users may have more integrations available). When you successfully generate a lead, BDOW! will automatically forward the contact information to your email provider. You can then utilize your preferred email marketing tools to engage with your subscribers.

  2. You can always view, interact with, and download your subscriber list via the Contacts tab in your BDOW! site manager.

Will I be notified about new subscribers?

By default, we do not automatically alert you when you receive a new subscriber. However, you can choose to configure your campaign form to send you a success notification.

Additionally, you can visit the Notifications area of the BDOW! site manager if you'd like to review recent activity. Just click the bell icon in the upper-right corner.

Will BDOW! contact my new subscriber?

For most campaign forms, we will not message your new subscriber. However, there are a couple of cases where the subscriber will receive a message from us:

  1. You can choose to configure an Auto Response Email to welcome your new subscriber, in which case BDOW! will deliver the message for you.

  2. If you have enabled Double opt-in in your site settings, your visitor will receive an email verification from us before they are added to your contact list. As a result, the visitor will not become a subscriber until they confirm their subscription via the link in the email. Note that this setting is disabled by default since the opt-in flow is typically implemented by third-party email service providers.

Can I track the subscription on my analytics platform?

Yes! You can configure tracking and conversion pixels on the Success tab of your campaign form.
